Sage X3 People V9 P10 (V9.0.10)

Patch 10 is available. Below are some of the features that have been enhanced that will be included in the patch.

    Sage X3 V11 and Sage X3 People V9 can be installed on the same site as separate solutions, sharing the same Syracuse server. The Syracuse server must be in the last version (V11). To avoid disfunction related to links definition, or authoring, you can install an additional patch.

MEIBC Provident/Pension fund contribution increase

The MEIBC’s Provident/Pension fund contributions will increase from 7.2% to 7.3% as of 1 July 2018. You can view the circular here

Tax Season 2018 for Individuals

The 2018 Tax Season for Individuals opens on 1 July 2018 for eFilers and the branches will be open to assist individuals from 2 July 2018. The deadlines has changed from previous years:

Please take note of the following important tax dates:

Mauritius 30 June Submit no later than 15th of August - Return of Employees (ROE) and Statement of Emoluments
Malawi 30 June 6 months from Tax Year End Date – P9 and P16
Swaziland 30 June 30 September – PAYE 5 and PAYE 15
Uganda 30 June No Tax Year End Certificates or Annual Reports


Swaziland Budget Speech 2018/9

The Swaziland budget speech was held on 1 March 2018. All income tax rates will remain unchanged.

Botswana Budget Speech 2018/9

The Botswana budget speech was held on 5 February 2018. All income taxed rates will remain unchanged. It was also announced that the drafting of a tax administration law is expected to be completed in the next financial year.
