Andrew Levy
Andrew Levy is one of South Africa’s best-known labour resources. He has been in the labour field for over 40 years and has written many books on labour law and practices.
As a teacher, researcher, consultant and labour commentator, he has been at the forefront of South African labour developments.
With master’s degrees in both labour economics and labour law, Andres has consulted to a wide range of organisations on the management of industrial relations. He has also provided statistical analysis to the International Monetary Fund, the International Labour Organisation and institutions such as the South African Reserve Bank as well as the international investment banking community. In 2012 he received a lifetime achievement award from the South African Board for People Practises. He has been an arbitrator on various panels for over 20 years.
